Friday Night Haunts

Last night we went on a long adventure, actually checking out 5 different paranormal spots.  Well, mostly legends, and found one to be non-existent.  Let me give you the breakdown:

We started our night off on Patterson road.  This is a set of two bridges on Patterson Rd, which is located between Eldridge and Hwy 6 in Katy.  It is said that if you sit in the center of the bridge and turn your car off, you can hear soldiers marching.  Well, you'll never guess what we found.  I would say there were about 20 drunk teenagers, littering all over the place and nearly falling on their faces in front of our car.  Therefor we didn't even stop.  We actually decided that we would visit this location at another time, most likely a Monday or Tuesday night.  I suppose we at least know the spot exists, and how to get there.  I will say this, though, it is one creepy place.

Our second stop was on Old Greenhouse Rd in Katy.  The story with this one is pretty typical.  When you come up on the bridge, there is a very sharp curve, and the speed limit is 15 mph.  However, there are jackass drunk people that like to fly around this curve at 50mph and almost flip their own car, not including almost hitting your car.  Now, the instructions for this haunt say to drive slowly onto the bridge with your headlights off.  This is one of those things we are going to do on a Monday or Tuesday, and nowhere near a holiday.  It is a dangerous bridge and very narrow, and you should keep your brights on when crossing it.    Anyways, I am getting off the subject once again.  Drive across the bridge with your headlights off and an old woman will form.  She apparently died there in a car wreck.  Next week I will check that one out once again.

Next, we were looking for Patterson Street, where there is said to be a black shadow figure that runs next to your car and you see hand prints appear on your windows.  This was nothing more than a big business park.  Also, a complete waste of time.

We were going to head home after this and we just decided, since the other two spots were one the way back, that we could make quick stops there.  We were successful in the West Oaks walker case and I wanted to see if we could catch anything else, this time around 3 am.  Well, two fully charged batteries in our camera got drained like it was nothing, and both times, he left us with exactly 3 minutes of recording time.  I recorded some EVPs and we are going to review them a second time to see if we have anything, but it sounds like nothing is there honestly.  Here are some photos from this visit.

After this, we were headed home, on Beechnut, but Kawana and Johnny had been wanting to stop at Alief cemetery, so I suggested we go ahead and make the stop while we were in the vicinity. It was quiet, but its really the apartments that are supposed to be haunted because most of the cemetery is gone now, due to them building these apartments on top of it.  If you aren't from Houston, or just don't know of the Alief cemetery, it is located at Dairy Ashford and Bellaire.  Bad photos that I have, but here they are.

So that is our adventure from last night.  Let us know if there is anything paranormal that you guys see in the pictures, and we will review our video footage and voice recorder to see if we have caught anything.  From first view, I really don't think we have anything.  Until next time, happy hauntings!

Fund Raising

So, ghost hunting is expensive, and we need more equipment than what we have.  As of right now, every paycheck I am able to get a piece of equipment, however we have figured out a way, that we hope our followers would like, to make money for our adventures.  We are selling bracelets at $2 a piece, just get in contact with me to buy them.  Right now, I have 4 different ones, but if you have a request, by all means let me know.  Also, if you have any ideas you would like to share with us, to help us raise money, please leave us a post.  Remember, you can also contact us at tgpinvestigations@hotmail.com or on our  facebook page.

Coming Soon

Hello everyone, this is Tori.  So great news... we are getting more equipment this week, this will help us get better evidence and creep you out even more.  Also, one of our team members, Johnny, has gotten in touch with the GM of Spaghetti Warehouse, which is said to be haunted.  There is lots of recorded activity there, so much that they have shut off the top floor from customers.  They even have ghost tours every now and then.  Anyways, we are planning a full on investigation, going in with a full team, taking EVP, pictures, and videos.  Hopefully we can get you guys some cool stuff to view.  I will post an update when we have this investigation planned out fully, but until then I will leave you with some research on that, at the bottom of this post.
Lastly, we will have an investigation coming up this weekend.  It most likely wont be Spaghetti Warehouse, but we are looking into a set of apartments that they built on a cemetery and also reports of a few deaths there.  It is right on Alief cemetery, they tenants report most activity happening in their kitchens, so that should be fun.  Also, the house at the corner of Beechnut and Gessner..... we'll get in there somehow.
Until next time, here is your treats:

The West Oaks Walker

Saturday morning we had our first investigation, attempting to contact and capture the West Oaks Walker.  According to our research, he is a soldier of some type that appears at this one spot every morning.  Since Saturdays were listed under his most active, and it was a full moon, we chose to try to capture him.  We have many photos, only one with a slight piece of evidence in it and well, the others I will put up anyways. One of you wonderful followers may see something and by all means let us know if you do.  Also, just in case you are curious, I will add links to other sites that discuss the West Oaks Walker.
