A Little Bit of an Update

Good afternoon readers, I just wanted to give everyone a quick update and share some interesting photos.  We have a possible investigation coming in the next week, and I have had up put up on a national feed and twitter for people to contact for investigations.  I am really hoping we pick up soon, but this stuff is also difficult to work around our work schedules, because we don't have normal 9-5 jobs.  Anyhow, I took a picture in my house a while ago and just decided that maybe I should pot it.  I will also post the one before and after, all taken within a couple seconds of each other.  This was the day I got my new camera and was really just testing it out, not even thinking I would catch anything.

This is the one!  Not a ball, not dust, and not line of light to follow.

Funny how he tried to move, I said to sit, and he did then turned and looked right at that spot.
Also, yesterday my friend Lynz and I took a trip to Galveston.  We thought we would explore Fort Travis, then go to the beach and have some of  Rita's water ice.  As usual, the plan didn't follow, except the Rita's part.  Fort Travis was closed, which their website said nothing about, and the weather was bad.  We had fun anyways though, we explored the  Bolivar Peninsula, visited some cemeteries, went to the oldest existing public library in Texas, walked along the Strand, visited a pub, had dinner, and got some creepy pictures of two of my favorite buildings in Galveston.
The Bishop's Palace

The Moody Mansion
The cemeteries where extremely interesting, and we are planning on going another time.  There is so much to see and not enough time in one day to experience it all.  I will leave some pictures from the cemetery here, but I wanted to let everyone know, that I have been inspired to make a cemetery blog.  I always take tons of pictures and am fascinated with some of the history you find, so that will be up shortly and I will be linking it to this website.  I will update you guys and there are tons of photos coming your way.

Some Info

Hi faithful readers!  I just wanted to let you guys know that we are now listed on ParanormalSocieties.com which is an online paranormal society directory.  In other words, we should get more cases.  Also, we got a couple more pieces of equipment, and the whole week off work.  By the end of next week, if nothing more, I will have some pics up for you guys from Galveston.  Let me know if there is any place in particular that we should check out there, and keep checking back for updates.

Back in Action

Good afternoon readers!  I just wanted to let you guys know that we are back in the game and with new equipment.  In fact, Wednesday night we did an investigation of a house.  The owner asked that we not reveal the location, but we will just say that it was in Mission Bend.  However, I will share with you what she told us during her interview.
The first thing she remembered were footstep and creaking in the night, also getting an overwhelming feeling.  She said it felt as if there was a presence around you when no one was home.  Next, she informed us of hearing children playing in the living room when both her and her son where in their bedrooms.  To go along with this, the previous owners actually left a baby bed behind, in the garage.  By sight, she has seen a puddle of water appear, a snake, and unexplainable shadows.  Lastly, 3 of her dishes were thrown onto the floor and shattered.

All of these instances made it seem really scary before we even walked into the house.  Granted the house did have a bad vibe about it, but we weren't able to catch any real evidence.  Also, no one in my team had any type of experiences.  We did get a few words on the ovilus, which just so happened to be when we were walking out of the door.  It said, "roof" "man" and "help."  We are attempting to look further into the history of the property.  Google tells us nothing, neighbors know nothing, and now all that we have left are to retrieve police records.

That is pretty much all that has been going on with us. We will be continuing investigations with our new technology and continuing to update.  So keep your eyes open and don't forget, you can email us at tgpinvestigations@hotmail.com if you have any potential cases for us.

Forest Park Cemetery

Nothing there, this cemetery is really peaceful actually, but its nice, and gorgeous statues everywhere.  I promise to go back and get better photos in the daytime, but I got a couple good ones.

Patience For Now

So, the Brewery Tap has not been investigated, there is just too much going on and not enough resources.  We are going to take this time to do lots of research and prepare ourselves for investigations starting at the beginning of the year.  In the mean time we are doing small investigations, also.  I will post up some pictures I recently took at the cemetery next to my company's new office building.  So, don't think we have disappeared or quit doing what we love, we simply need time to gather ourselves as a team.  Further updates will come your way and don't forget to email us at tgpinvestigations@hotmail.com and tell us of any haunted locations we should check out.

So Far...

Hi guys, this is Tori!  I know I haven't updated in a while so I will fill everyone in on what all is going on.
First things first, we went to Bailey's Prairie on the night of September 23rd, and we found nothing, just did a bunch of driving around.  However, it is my fault for not doing enough research, because Kawana did find out that Brit Bailey likes to show up only every 7 years.  More research to be done on this, so I will find when the last time he was reported being seen and see if we can try to find him again.  We did though stop at this grave yard in Manvel, it is down cemetery road.  I wanted to see cause I haven't been there since I was maybe 12 years old.  Makensie and I used to go there all the time.  Anyways, just so happens we all turned around and looked right at two head stones for Bailey's and that is all anyone remembers other than the freaky Jesus statue.  Maybe its a sign....
Now, I have updates on new locations.  We have been in contact with the GM of Spaghetti Warehouse in downtown Houston.  She is allowing us to come in with a crew and investigate both floors.  We are trying to set that date for October 30th, therefor we will technically be there on Halloween once it passes midnight, yay!  When we definitely have a date set, I will let you guys know.  Also, Johnny spoke with the owner of the Brewery Tap in downtown Houston.  He was very nice and said we came do an investigation anytime we like, so we will be doing that one soon.  The original owner, William, was killed during prohibition and likes to hang around there.  He is very friendly so yay.  Oh, and here is a picture of what I am talking about, just in case you never heard of the brewery tap.
I guess we will see what we can catch...  Until then, I am putting up photos that are our best evidence so far:

I did a bad job trying to trace this guy, but if you look at the original, you can see it fine.

Here is another from West Oaks.

I kept getting told that everyone could see this guy in this one, and two weeks later I finally noticed him, staring right at me.  He even has a shadow, scary.

This one was taken in Alief cemetery:

You can see a kid, and we thought it may be a headstone, but you can see the split between its legs and it is completely transparent, also on other pics, nothing is in that same spot.  Johnny said there is something in front of this headstone too, but I don't see it, so if someone would like to point it out, by all means.
That is all we have so far, nothing caught on EVP and the video needs further analyzing.  I don't think there is anything on the video but just in case we will look again.  Maybe I will make a montage.  Until next post, I will leave you with some Brewery Tap and Bailey's Prairie info links.

Friday Night Haunts

Last night we went on a long adventure, actually checking out 5 different paranormal spots.  Well, mostly legends, and found one to be non-existent.  Let me give you the breakdown:

We started our night off on Patterson road.  This is a set of two bridges on Patterson Rd, which is located between Eldridge and Hwy 6 in Katy.  It is said that if you sit in the center of the bridge and turn your car off, you can hear soldiers marching.  Well, you'll never guess what we found.  I would say there were about 20 drunk teenagers, littering all over the place and nearly falling on their faces in front of our car.  Therefor we didn't even stop.  We actually decided that we would visit this location at another time, most likely a Monday or Tuesday night.  I suppose we at least know the spot exists, and how to get there.  I will say this, though, it is one creepy place.

Our second stop was on Old Greenhouse Rd in Katy.  The story with this one is pretty typical.  When you come up on the bridge, there is a very sharp curve, and the speed limit is 15 mph.  However, there are jackass drunk people that like to fly around this curve at 50mph and almost flip their own car, not including almost hitting your car.  Now, the instructions for this haunt say to drive slowly onto the bridge with your headlights off.  This is one of those things we are going to do on a Monday or Tuesday, and nowhere near a holiday.  It is a dangerous bridge and very narrow, and you should keep your brights on when crossing it.    Anyways, I am getting off the subject once again.  Drive across the bridge with your headlights off and an old woman will form.  She apparently died there in a car wreck.  Next week I will check that one out once again.

Next, we were looking for Patterson Street, where there is said to be a black shadow figure that runs next to your car and you see hand prints appear on your windows.  This was nothing more than a big business park.  Also, a complete waste of time.

We were going to head home after this and we just decided, since the other two spots were one the way back, that we could make quick stops there.  We were successful in the West Oaks walker case and I wanted to see if we could catch anything else, this time around 3 am.  Well, two fully charged batteries in our camera got drained like it was nothing, and both times, he left us with exactly 3 minutes of recording time.  I recorded some EVPs and we are going to review them a second time to see if we have anything, but it sounds like nothing is there honestly.  Here are some photos from this visit.

After this, we were headed home, on Beechnut, but Kawana and Johnny had been wanting to stop at Alief cemetery, so I suggested we go ahead and make the stop while we were in the vicinity. It was quiet, but its really the apartments that are supposed to be haunted because most of the cemetery is gone now, due to them building these apartments on top of it.  If you aren't from Houston, or just don't know of the Alief cemetery, it is located at Dairy Ashford and Bellaire.  Bad photos that I have, but here they are.
Alief's headstone

So that is our adventure from last night.  Let us know if there is anything paranormal that you guys see in the pictures, and we will review our video footage and voice recorder to see if we have caught anything.  From first view, I really don't think we have anything.  Until next time, happy hauntings!
